Ratings move daily; these are the figures the UK App Store showed on 26 October 2026. Not listed means the operator's banking page does not name the method for that direction.
Every one of those ten listings is free to download. The oldest phones are catered for by 247Bet and bet365, whose apps install on iOS 15.0 or later, with Grosvenor close behind at iOS 15.6. Ladbrokes and Coral ask the most of your handset: both need iOS 18.0. If your iPhone has stopped receiving updates, that single line on the listing settles which blackjack app iPhone owners in your position can actually use, before any comparison of tables or offers.
The App column matters more than it looks. Midnite, 247Bet, BetMGM, Betfred and 10Bet put sports betting and the casino in one app, so the blackjack tables sit behind a casino tab next to football and racing. Ladbrokes, Coral, LeoVegas, Grosvenor and bet365 publish a separate casino app, which opens straight into the games. Neither is better in itself; a combined app is one download if you also bet on sport, while a casino-only app keeps the lobby less crowded.

Eight of the ten ratings sit between 4.1 and 4.7, so on stars alone the best iOS blackjack app is close to a tie at the top. The spread at the bottom is wider. 247Bet rated 1.8 from 37 ratings and 10Bet 3.4 from 174 ratings on 26 October 2026, both from far fewer reviews than the bigger brands. A star average describes how people feel about logging in, loading games and getting paid; a small number of ratings moves quickly in either direction.

What Apple's rules ask of real money gambling apps
Apple lets real-money casino apps onto the App Store only if they hold the licences for every place they are used, block everywhere else, are free to download and never sell gambling credit through in-app purchase.
The relevant text is section 5.3 of Apple's App Review Guidelines. Apple calls gaming, gambling and lotteries "one of the most regulated offerings on the App Store" and warns developers to expect extra time in review. Three rules shape what you see on your phone.

- Licensed and geo-restricted (5.3.4). An app offering casino games for money "must have necessary licensing and permissions in the locations where the app is used" and must be geo-restricted to those places. For a UK player that means a Gambling Commission licence, which all ten operators here hold.
- Free on the store (5.3.4). A real-money casino app may not charge for the download. If a listing asks for money before you install it, it is something else.
- No in-app purchase for gambling credit (5.3.3). Deposits go through the operator's own cashier: debit card, PayPal, bank transfer or Apple Pay where listed. Your Apple account is never the wallet.
Two smaller rules are worth knowing. Guideline 5.1.1(ix) says apps in highly regulated fields such as gambling should be submitted by the legal entity that provides the service, not by an individual developer, so the seller name on a genuine listing is normally the operator, its group or a company working for it. And 5.3.4 bans "illegal gambling aids, including card counters" outright. An iOS blackjack app that promises to count cards for you at a casino table has no place on the store.
So a blackjack app iPhone owners find on the UK store has already passed Apple's review for licensing and location. None of this makes Apple the regulator. The App Store checks that an app is entitled to be there; the Gambling Commission licenses the operator and sets the rules on fairness, verification and safer gambling.
Age ratings on the App Store: why gambling apps read 18+
On iOS 26 and later, Apple places apps with real-money gambling in its 18+ band. Phones on older versions show the earlier 17+ rating for the same apps.
Apple revised its age bands in 2025. Its age rating definitions now list "Gambling" under the 18+ band for devices running iOS 26 or later, while devices on an earlier version show the old 17+ band, which also covered gambling. So an iPhone that has not been updated may display 17+ for an app that newer phones label 18+. The app is the same; the label depends on your iOS version.

That store rating is not the age check that matters in Britain, though. Before you can place a bet, the operator has to verify your age and identity under Gambling Commission rules. The store label is mostly useful at home: Screen Time's content restrictions use age ratings to hide apps from a child's device, which is a sensible setting on any iPhone or iPad that children borrow.
Face ID, Touch ID and signing in
Apple describes Face ID as a way to sign in to apps as well as to unlock the phone. Whether a casino app supports it is the operator's choice, and our data does not record which of the ten do.
Apple's own support page says Face ID lets you "unlock your iPhone or iPad, authenticate purchases, sign in to apps and more". The phrase that matters is sign in to apps: biometric login is available to any app that builds it in, and it replaces typing a password on a small keyboard at the start of every session.

We do not record Face ID support per app, so we make no claim either way. Look in the app's account or security settings after you log in for the first time. If the option is there, it is worth pairing with a strong password: Face ID only replaces typing it, and the password still protects the account on any other device.

Apple Pay at real money casino apps: in and out
Nine of the ten operators list Apple Pay for deposits; 247Bet does not. Seven also list it for withdrawals, with stated times from instant at bet365 to 1 to 4 days at BetMGM.
Apple Pay is a deposit method only where the operator says so, and the lists differ. bet365 accepts Apple Pay deposits from £5 up to £20,000 and lists Apple Pay withdrawals as instant. Betfred takes £5 to £20,000 per Apple Pay deposit and lists Apple Pay payouts within 6 hours. Midnite accepts £5 to £5,000 and pays out to Apple Pay in 1 to 3 days, as do Ladbrokes, Coral and LeoVegas, whose deposit ceilings are £2,000, £2,500 and £1,000. BetMGM takes Apple Pay deposits from £10 and lists 1 to 4 days back.

Two operators take Apple Pay in one direction only. 10Bet accepts Apple Pay deposits of £10 to £10,000 and Grosvenor from £5, but neither lists Apple Pay as a way to withdraw, so winnings go back by card, PayPal or bank transfer instead. Ladbrokes and Coral list Apple Pay deposits without a stated processing time.
If you want a blackjack app iPhone payments can run through without typing card details, Apple Pay is the column to read. 247Bet is the odd one out there: no Apple Pay in either direction, so on an iPhone you would pay in by debit card, PayPal, Trustly, Revolut or another listed method. Screen Time and notifications as a brake
Every operator offers its own limits inside the app. Your iPhone adds two more: a daily Time Allowance for the app, and the option to switch its notifications off completely.
Start inside the app. Eight of the ten operators list daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, Midnite lists deposit limits without naming the periods, and for BetMGM the deposit limit is not in our data. A deposit limit set before the first session is the single most useful setting a blackjack player has. Screen Time is the phone's own layer. On iOS 27, Apple's Schedules and Time Allowances let you set how long you can use apps each day and when during the day you can use them. Allowances work by category, such as Games, and you can adjust individual apps; Apple notes that if an app declares an associated website, the allowance applies to both. Earlier iOS versions offer similar controls under different menu names.
Notifications are the other lever. In Settings, then Notifications, choose the casino app and turn off Allow Notifications. Promotional alerts stop arriving, while your own account limits and reminders inside the app keep working. You can switch them back on at any time. With a combined sports and casino app, that switch silences match alerts too, which is worth knowing before you turn it off.

Why does the App Store say 17+ on my phone and 18+ on another?
Apple shows 18+ for gambling apps on iOS 26 and later, and the older 17+ band on earlier versions. The app is the same. In Britain the operator still verifies that you are 18 before you can bet.
Can I deposit with Apple Pay in an iOS blackjack app?
At nine of the ten operators, yes, within their listed limits; 247Bet does not list Apple Pay. Seven also pay out to Apple Pay, with bet365 listing instant withdrawals.
Can I buy casino credit through the App Store?
No. Apple's guideline 5.3.3 bars in-app purchase for credit used in real-money gaming. You deposit through the operator's own cashier instead.
Do iPhone casino apps support Face ID?
