About BlackjackApps
A comparison of real-money blackjack apps for UK players, built from published, dated facts. What it does, how it is paid for, and who stands behind it.
What BlackjackApps is
BlackjackApps is a small comparison site about one thing: real-money blackjack on a phone in the UK. It compares 10 apps from operators licensed by the Gambling Commission on the questions a blackjack player asks first.
How many live tables, from what stake per hand, on which phones, how money comes back out, and whether blackjack counts towards the welcome offer at all. Those answers sit on the blackjack apps list, and the guides cover the rest: licences, limits, withdrawals, practice apps and the choice between app and browser.
The name comes from the shoe, the box a dealer draws cards from. The clock times down the side of each page are a nod to that; they mark the order of a page, not a measurement.
How the comparisons are made
From published facts, read directly and dated: the operators' own terms, banking and safer gambling pages, their App Store and Google Play listings, and the Gambling Commission's public register. The current set was read on 26 October 2026.
We do not install apps, open accounts or play to produce these pages. Each operator is shown against the same four fixed checks, so you can compare them on equal terms. Where a figure cannot be traced, it reads not confirmed. The full rules are on the method page.
How the site is funded
Through affiliate commission. When someone registers with an operator after following a link from this site, the operator pays a commission, and that commission pays for the site.
Commission is also the obvious reason to be sceptical of any comparison site, this one included, so we say plainly how it works here. The order of the list is our editorial choice, and our commercial agreements with operators are part of that choice. What an agreement does not touch is the facts: the four checks and every figure on a listing are printed as the operator publishes them, dated, and a gap reads not confirmed for every operator alike. The commission also does not change the terms of your own deal with the operator.
Only operators licensed by the Gambling Commission are listed, and the list does not cover every licensed operator in the market.
Who is behind it
BlackjackApps is published by Dave Wilkinson, a private individual based in Cleethorpes. Pages are written by the editorial team and carry no individual bylines.
Postal address: Dave Wilkinson, St Peter's Ave, Cleethorpes, South Humberside, DN35 8HQ, United Kingdom. Telephone: 01472 692082. E-mail: [email protected].
Operators are paid partners through the affiliate links described above. That relationship pays for the site, and it is one of the things behind the order of the list; it never changes a figure.
What we hold ourselves to
Adults only, licensed operators only, every figure dated, and no promise of winnings anywhere on the site.
There are no star ratings, no demo games and no game screenshots. Gaps are shown as gaps. Safer gambling information sits next to every listing, and the responsible gambling page lists free help. If you think something here falls short of that, the contact page tells you how to reach us.
